TAW MAY by Stonehealed Vulcan X Taw Fern (by Crookety Bouncer)

May is a 14 year old bay mare bought from Devon in 2001 when we re-established the Stud.  She is a lovely example of a Dartmoor mare, true to type with valuable old blood lines.  Her great grand dam was Mr Jim Holman’s Cosdon May, who she rather resembles.
She has bred many good foals, Rothiemay Mayfair, Meering Monty. Meering Mister Buzz, Meering Maybelline and a winning grandchild in Meering Mayflower. Her latest filly is the truly delightful Mia who we have retained.
A great character who is a pleasure to own, very independent when turned out but so polite in the box and stable and having much success whenever we take her to a show as she is so beautiful!
